arc Thrift Stores

The business has four primary areas -

Telemarketing - The telemarketing department solicits donations from front-range residents including clothing, household goods, furniture, and other items. MARC solicits under the trademarked name "Jane" which has gained strong support and brand recognition. Today, our database exceeds 1 million numbers and we are capable of placing over 50,000 calls per day.

Trucking - The trucking department picks up donations and transfers product between the stores. Trucking operations cover over 20,000 square miles along the front range, handling over 7,000 individual donations per week. All donations are delivered directly to the stores for processing.

Retail Stores - Currently, MARC has 17 retail thrift stores.  There are 11 in the Denver metro area, 1 in Fort Collins, 1 in Greeley, 3 in Colorado Springs, and 1 in Pueblo.  Each thrift store prepares approximately 40,000 items for sale each week.

Vehicles for Charity- In 2001, Vehicles for Charity was founded by MARC.  VFC accepts donations of cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles with the proceeds from the sale of the vehicles supporting Marc's beneficiary units.  In addition to accepting donations for arc Thrift Stores, they also assist approximately 400 other nonprofit organizations in 48 contiguous states with their vehicle donation programs. 

MARC has successfully requited many high quality managers, all with extensive retail business experience, which upgraded the overall quality of the company.  The long-term success of the company depends on the quality of the staff.
